December/January Book Post – How They Croaked

After careful consideration, I have selected the grossest book I have ever read for our next meeting. That’s right. This book is disgusting. And all of it is true.

I like to pick one nonfiction book each year, and this time it’s How They Croaked: The Awful Ends of the Awfully Famous, by Georgia Bragg. This book is kind of a biography, but instead of being about one person, it’s about a whole bunch, and instead of telling about their whole lives, it pretty much just focuses on their deaths. Which usually weren’t pretty. There’s also a little information about diseases, history, and other stuff in each section.

Last year, Jonah said, “It’s supposed to be Guys Read, not gross read.”

I replied, “It’s the same thing.”

After reading this book, we’ll find out if that’s true.

I hope you like it! Enjoy your Winter Break! Hope you read a ton of books. And find some under the tree (or wherever).
